Pomegranate Punch

 

Pomegranate Punch: prepare, place, party!

 

Yield: 20 Servings

 

  • For the Oleo Saccharum
  • 3 oranges
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 lime
  • 500 g sugar
  • 250 g warm water

 

  • For the Punch:
  • 15 oz. Bourbon
  • 10 oz. Pomegranate Juice
  • 2 oz. St. Germain
  • 1 bottle Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 24 oz Club Soda
  • 1 Oleo Saccharum Recipe
  • Garnish: Orange and Lemon slices

 

  1. To prepare the oleo saccharum peel and reserve rinds. Juice the citrus into mixing bowl. Muddle rinds with sugar until the sugar is glossy with oils. Pour warm water over the rind and sugar mixture and add to the citrus juice. Stir well until sugar is dissolved. Strain to remove rinds.
  2. To prepare the punch combine Bourbon, pomegranate juice, St. Germain, oleo saccharum in a punch bowl. Top with club soda and sparkling wine. Garnish with ice and slices of orange and lemon.

 

Make it fancy: prepare the punch base by combining Bourbon, pomegranate juice, St. Germain, and oleo saccharum. Pour 2 oz. each of the punch base into Champagne flutes. Top with soda and sparkling wine, garnish with lemon twists.
